Let your kindness be known to all men. The Lord is near

Philippians 4: 5 "Let your kindness be known to all men. The Lord is near!"

  To the Philippians, the Apostle Paul said, "Let your kindness be known to all men. The Lord is near!" Kindness here not only refers to the willingness and ability to provide a material, but also pointed to the good attitude or pay attention. Of course the point here is not to show off, not for show, not for profit themselves. Kindness should be known to others, because its function is to witness of life as a follower of Jesus. This is in line with what Jesus taught, namely that the believer should be reflected light in front of everyone. The picture is a lamp that is placed on a stand, not under a basket. The goal is clear, that they honor the Father who is in heaven.
  Here tucked three important lessons: first, the good Lord has instilled in us since we believe and accept Jesus. Second, God wants us to be a witness to others through the embodiment of kindness. Third, God wants us to have a pure motivation when we do good.
  Therefore let us compete to show kindness. If you can afford it, we can show kindness by giving material to the needy. If not, we can show kindness by being nice and giving attention and prayer to others. God bless.

Prayer:
Jesus, grant me a willing heart to do good to others. Do not let the desire for praise over me, but let me do whatever merits solely for the glory of Your name. Amen.
